Say hello to Caspian

And me too. I'm Ash and I would love some plots for Caspian, here, or Cas, or Cassy or whatever you want to call him. You can even try Prince Caspian but he'll probably just give you a Look and reply that he was actually named after the sea. Really he has no idea why he was named that, whether his parents just thought it was an actual name or if they were just being dicks. Mainly he goes with the latter.

THE HISTORY

Anywho, so Caspian is twenty-three years old, from a place called Guildford in Surrey, England, (it's very nice) although he was born in Slough to a sixteen year school girl and adopted straight afterwards. He's in the upper school, obviously, studying computer science, as he's a bit of a technical wiz/nerd and is currently most likely between his first and second year, as he came to the school when he was twenty-two. Previously he was in the lower school, from the age of sixteen to eighteen, after he caused a bit too much trouble for his parents and they decided packing him off the France was the best way to deal with that.

However, he intended to come back straight away to begin his degree after finishing lower school, but he and his older brother, Elliot, went travelling together that summer holiday and Elliot was killed in a hiking accident. After that, his parents disowned him, pretty much, although his older sister vowed to stay in touch. so he was left stranded in Italy with not a lot of money, a broken arm and a lot of guilt and trauma.

After that, he got a job in a bar, where he worked for two years, before travelling around and eventually working his way to Paris. That was when his sister tracked him down again, and told him that his real mother had agreed to pay for his education, as long as he didn't get in contact with her. Cas accepted this, and that is how he ended up back at the school.

Also, yes, one side of his face is a bit messed up, where he got glassed during a fight in a bar, which he may or may not have started by maybe or maybe not flirting with someone's girlfriend. Cas does have a certain inclination towards the dramatic though, so he tends to make stuff up about what happened to his face, so there are probably various different stories floating around.

THE PERSON

As for what Caspian is like. Well. He is fairly chilled out guy for the most part, doesn't really let much get under his skin or wind him up, more likely to shrug things off with a grin and a witty remark than retaliate. Joking around and winding people up a little bit are things that he's quite partial to, when the opportunity is there, although he's chilled out a bit on that front, to some extent. For the majority of the time, Cas is a happy guy, charming, confident, likes to be friends with most people, can be quite loud and likes to lead but he's deceptively hard to get close to, and tends to evade any attempts at deeper connections. He's somewhat jaded in that area, having been screwed over by his parents, so he doesn't like to rely on anyone anymore, so if you're looking for deep heart to hearts, might want to look elsewhere.

THE PLOTS

And as I've rambled on for far too long, I'll wrap this up with what I'm looking for.

Friends, for sure, as Caspian likes people, likes socialising and likes being with friends, and he's not particularly hard to get a long with, as long as you don't mind a bit of teasing and the occasional bit of brutal honesty. But, you do get a fair amount of physical affection mixed in with that. Snuggles for the win.

Enemies, I'm sure he'll have those too, as his general demeanour will wind a few people up, no doubt, and there might be a few scorned lovers or almost lovers.

Which leads me neatly to lovers, as Caspian is something of an enigma in this area. He is a flirt, and a bit of a tease, as he doesn't always follow through on the flirting, however heavy it gets, being somewhat careless and fickle, he can switch off from a person with amazing speed, so they might think they're getting in there, until he'll suddenly pulls away, distracted by something else. The same goes for relationships, but it's unlikely he will have been in many, considering his desire to not get too close to people. Also, his sexual orientation if fluid, so he might bat for either team, depending on the person and the situation.

Sooo, that's Caspian... in an extended nutshell. Let me know if anyone is interested, I'm open to pretty much anything.

so i have brett here. who is a bit of an enigma herself.
she's young, definitely. way too young for cas, which i think is just perfect. she's wild & reckless - think cherry bomb & the runaways (; & she's got this overwhelming charm she turns on to her advantage.

she's quite worldly & filthy, filthy rich. her family is less than inviting and she's always considered herself a bit of a wanderer, only with daddy's penny to back her up.

she's damaged, as they all are. a bit dastardly in her ways, almost to a pathological degree. and you'd think there would be a soft-side to her, right? there isn't. not one that anyone has seen at least.

i think the two of them could get into loads of trouble together. brett would have fun trying to figure cas out. she has a talent of picking people apart. i'm open to any ideas though, as long as they fit into her character

ASH! (okay, for some reason I am totally tempted to start belting out the Pokemon theme which is starting to morph into the Sailor Moon in my head. Yes, I do need sleep...) So I started this earlier and then got side-tracked by something shiny and Birthe-like... Anyway, there is a point to this nonsensical babbling. PLOTS! I have them. Sort of. We'll pretend I do.

Right.

So since you know my characters I will skip the painful background and tell you my ideas (and skip the ones I think won't work). Adèle insists I include her even though I think she's too young and insane to be friends with Cas. She disagrees and wants him to know that his scars are so hot. Not that he wasn't hot before or that she knew him before but even without scars she can tell he'd be hot. Scars make him hotter in case he was wondering. She'd likely ask him how he got said scars and then interrupt his story and come up with something new and more exciting - like arm wrestling a shark. -sideways glance- MOVING ON.

Given that both Ainsley and Cas have been attending the school for quite some time I can see them having known each other before each of their worlds sort of imploded. I think it might be sort of interesting if that were the case for their paths to cross now that they are very different people. I'm sort of leaning toward them having not liked each other before and their paths recrossing now. I don't know... we'll talk more on AIM.

Then there's Emma. If their paths ever crossed I can see them getting along. I don't know how their paths would cross as she doesn't assault people with footballs like other characters of mine...

Noah thinks they should pull an epic prank together.

We've pretty much covered this shizzle (you've even posted in my plot post, so...), but:

CAS&CALLUM: I have great faith in the fun we'll have with these two and their flirtation, drink buying, general liking, curious questions, stories about scars, apple-stealing and running away. And Callum wants to peek behind Cas's door and get his prize. I think people should interpret that any way they please =P

CAS&CADEN: Why can't my boys' names be shortened? This is something I need to work on. Anyway, a bit duller than the other two. Caden isn't up for any suggestions, he just wants to sit and contemplate the futility of action, or preferably just stare blankly off into space and ponder pie for dinner. If even that. And Cas thinks he's not as good as the last one. =P

Sorry, I fail at replying to people. Here goes:

Brett: As much as I hate to close things off, I think Brett might be a bit too young for Caspian to hang around with too much. Seven years is a fairly hefty distance when the youngest is sixteen. Not that he wouldn't hang out with her because she's sixteen, but I imagine the age difference would become fairly apparent over time. Buuuuut, maybe we could work out a one off meeting or something, where it doesn't really come up and see what happens from there. In the long term, not really sure how it would work out but anything can happen.

Adele: Pshh, too insane. Never. Too young, probably, as I said to Brett, again not because she's sixteen but because of the age difference presenting itself, blah blah blah. Anywho. He won't mind her informing him that is scars are hot aaaand I'm pretty sure they can come up with some interesting stories about how he got them. Cas has no doubt used sharks before. He would probably claim a jaguar in Borneo (do jaguars live in Borneo? I don't know) while he was hunting jewel thieves. He goes for the believable stories, he really does.

Ainsley: Yes! We should definitely discuss them. Cas probably hasn't changed too much outwardly, but yeah, I imagine there are some indications and their could be some rumours about what went on, because that amuses me. We'll have to see if we can get their times at the school to match up and go from there.

Emma: We shall have to work out some other way to give Cas a nose bleed. I think it's a good moment for bonding. Luckily he's not a shy little Brazilian, (or not so little) so they could possibly skip the blood letting.

Noah: Cas agrees. They just need a chicken and some cans of Coke...

Callum: Caspian's door is always ready to be opened by Callum. And he would enjoy the rest of it too!

Caden: They could be Cal and Cad! With Cas! Anywho. Caspain does not think he's as good as the last one, although really he doesn't have much of an opinion, he's just trying to disturb Caden. He's nice like that. I've also decided Cas is going to sit down next to Caden, put an arm around his should and tell him the story about the boy who didn't enjoy his life, who became an old man who didn't enjoy his life. And then he died. So Caden has that to look forward to.

Cal and Cad... Callum's up for Cal, but I don't know if Caden will respond to Cad... Then again, he might not even respond to Caden. But he would like to respond to Cas's story by telling him the story about the boy who really enjoyed life, and became an old man who enjoyed his life. And then he died. =P Such a hopeful take on life, that boy XD

Callum, however, would like to wink. He's probably planning something =P

I fail and am insanely exhausted currently, so forgive me for not having specific ideas. I don't even know how Ewan and Cas would get along to be honest... but, to be fair, there are not many people who Ewan really can't get along with. There may be some he wishes he could just blow off or some such, but that's about it. And, anyway, I doubt Cas would fall into that category. I think they could be friends, possibly. Ewan seems like a total stick in the mud at first... he's rather quiet and keeps to himself. However, he actually finds himself wandering around Saint-Michel quite often, learning and experiencing as much as he can. And that intimidating little frown of concentration? Well, he actually has a rather nice smile when he dares to break it out. He is honestly just a big teddy bear... a jaded, slightly cynical one, but a teddy bear nonetheless. Other people mean quite a lot to him and he likes hugs. Even man-hugs, though those are a bit less snuggly and more slap on the back, then part. But he still likes them!

Um... yeah.... end of ramble. Let me know if you have any ideas.
