Heyyyy Birthe! This is Mo, I don't know if you remember me or not. I was kind of on Violet Hour for a while, and then I disappeared. . .I promise with good reason. Anyway! I've just discovered that Adelaide here, is roomates with your Caden. And well. . .I kind of got those mind wheels turning, and I then I envisioned some enmity between them and I hope that you like my idea because I love it and I think it could be really fun to rp. I love the way you described him as one of those people who'd sit in the middle of a pathway and look at you as if you were the one with a problem. It actually gave me a really clear idea of who he was. Addie and Caden seem to have a few things in common actually. They both seem to be really determined people. Addie is very particular about her personal space, those things that belong to her being used (haha maybe even observed for too long) without her permission. But I feel like Caden just wouldn't give a darn about her permission in the least. And so if it's cool with you, i'd love run a "who drank my goddamn apple juice" thread. I think that her nonchalance matches Caden's to a certain degree. She knows what it's like to have her boundaries encroached upon however, so she lives by the philosophy that if she leaves others the heck alone they'll do the same for her. It'd be interesting to see how she reacts when this doesn't work out with one of her new roommates. Haha! And they both like piano. I'm not sure how to incorporate that into their future enmity, but if you're willing, I'm sure we can find a way. Oh! I should probably tell you a bit about her too. Addie's an 18 year old St. Lucia native- by way of New York. She's actually very reserved and reclusive, but she's not weak in the least. At her best she's really comical and generous. At her worst she's sarcastic, and easily driven to anger. It has been said that she treasures the capability of her hands more than she does her mind. She does a lot of knitting and sewing, and just a bunch of useless crap that occupies those skilled hands of hers. Adelaide's also a people-watcher. She's relies more on her intuition than any sort of intelligence really (she's actually horrible when it comes to academics, and she's been tested for a slew of learning disorders, though she's never been diagnosed). It just so happens that she's been endowed with very good perception by the universe and so she likes to use it for the purpose of figuring people out. Perhaps Caden will irk the hell out of her because his apathetic-ness (would you say this translates into him being void of emotion?) makes it hard for her to read him? Anyway. All in all, I see them hating one another. Perhaps he'll just annoy the heck out of her with his rudeness? I can't exactly see what about her would draw him out of his 'I don't give a damn,' bubble and make him hate her. Perhaps as revenge for apple juice consumption, Addie will begin to encroach upon his personal space as well? And then she'll find something personal or whatever and the shit will hit the fan? Let me know what you think!

Hey Mo!! Sorry about the delay in getting back to you! But I do remember you - hi again! And I like your idea very much! =D It would be great to have a 'who drank my goddamn apple juice' thread, and you're very right: He never asks permission, and doesn't care whose feet he steps on. So he'd probably get all up in her business, steal her food and apple juice, own up to it fairly easily, but never apologize. He is pretty difficult to figure it out, because you're right in saying that he's rather void of emotion - or at least that's how he projects himself. He's got a pretty tight lid on himself, and manages to avoid most depth of emotion - outside of his family and his complicated relationship with the piano. Annnd, if she did try to get revenge by encroaching on his personal space and finding something very personal to him, she might just pop that bubble of indifference and cause him to lash out! Which would be very interesting to see!! And we should also find some way of incorporating that piano-aspect, at some point. I don't see how right now, but it's such a big part of Caden's life, so that shared aspect would add a layer to it all!
(also, Adelaide is so lucky to have ended up with Caden and Ethan, grumps of the century, as her room mates XD)
