hello there , this is my character - brett elise bishop ii. link here -- she's from dresden, germany where her family owns a huge chunk of the city. she grew up all over the place and is rather entitled. she's a wild child, most definitely. who doesn't believe in love & has this intoxicating quality. she parties hard & recklessly, almost to a pathological degree. she needs someone to shake up her world. any takers? |

Chase is a lot like Brett in some ways, i think. he doesn't usually take shit from people, and he doesn't let people walk all over him. i think they could easily become friends, party together and whatnot. or you could think they wouldn't get along at all.

Well, these two seem pretty different personality-wise so I'm not exactly sure whether they'd get along or not. I think Rhys would probably be half dazzled and half annoyed at her entitled attitude! He'd kind of alternate between thinking she's a spoilt rich brat and admiring her gutsiness, although if they somehow got to know each other a bit better the latter would most likely win out. Either way she'd probably keep him on his toes! Hope that's not too wide off the mark. :) |

Hey Laura,
I like the idea. Very much. The contrast should be a nice paradigm we can play with. I can see them being thrown together in some way. Maybe she's kept after class for something and they have a chance encounter. Sorry, it's a bit late where I am and my brain's not functioning. I'll come up with something better. But she dazzles and annoys him while finding him completely entertaining just because she's thrown off by how thoughtful and soft-spoken he is. I can see him smoothing her ruffled feathers at times and having a calming effect on her. Cause she's like a lightening storm and often times trips herself up.
Thoughts?
I can see their meeting being something as random as her needing something to occupy her mind with, sort of using him and finding out she's rather perplexed by him - she wouldn't really be exposed to guys like him the way she's been living.

I'm glad! I think it would definitely be interesting to throw them together. I really like your idea of a chance encounter after class, since I'm not sure if they'd cross paths all that often otherwise. Or, failing that, maybe they could be introduced to each other at a party or something? Rhys's friends tend to be a bit wilder than he is so they might have some connections in common. Also smoothing ruffled feathers is something he's particularly good at so that sounds perfect. I think in return she'd probably have a bit of a energizing effect on him, wake him up a little bit and stop him being so lethargic. |
